We now have 3 awesome Tegus. Mordecai & Vashti our Black & White Argentine Tegus and Aurora our Red Tegu.  The 2 types are closely related though the Red Tegu prefers more vegatation to eat then the black & white variety. The Argentine Black and White Tegu, (Tupinambis merianae), and the Red Tegu (Tupinambis rufescensis),  are the largest species of tegu. Argentine tegus make good pets, as they have a tendency to become attached to their owners and are generally quite docile as adults. A well cared for animal will live for 15 to 20 years in captivity, and possibly even longer in the wild.
They have looks to impress and personality plus.  They're a  bit over 3 ft long with beaded skin.

Our Awesome Sulcata Tortoises Abraham & Sarah

Meet our African Bullfrog Goliath
The African Bullfrog (Pyxicephalus adspersus) is a species of frog in the Ranidae family.
It is also known as the Pixie frog due to its Latin name.
This is a large frog, many weighing in over approx 4.4 lbs.
The African Bullfrog is carnivorous and a voracious eater, eating insects, small rodents, reptiles, small birds and other amphibians.

This is Isis our Nile Monitor, though young she is impressive to see.

The Nile Monitor is a large member of the monitor lizard family (Varanidae). Nile Monitors can grow to about 9 ft in length. They have muscular bodies, strong legs and powerful jaws. The teeth are sharp and pointed in juvenile animals and become blunt and peg-like in adults. They also possess sharp claws used for climbing, digging, defense, or tearing at their prey. Like all monitors they have a forked tongue, with highly developed olfactory properties. Their nostrils are placed high on the snout, indicating that these animals are highly aquatic, but are also excellent climbers and quick runners on land. Nile Monitors feed on fish, snails, frogs, crocodile eggs and young, snakes, birds, small mammals, large insects, and carrion. Nile monitors are native to Africa and the species is distributed throughout the entire central and southern regions of the continent.  They are not found in any of the desert regions of Africa, however, as they are excellent swimmers and thrive around rivers.

This is Firecracker our Milk Snake, he is brightly colored and gentle to touch.

The Honduran milk snake inhabits low to medium elevations of the tropical areas of Honduras, Nicaragua, and Northeastern Costa Rica.  The Honduran milk snake's base color is red with distinct rings or bands of black and yellow  The Honduran milk snake is one of the larger subspecies of milk snake, attaining a length of 48 inches in the wild and some captive specimens reaching a length of 5 feet.  The Honduran milk snake has a resemblance to the coral snake and this similarity in color, known as Batesian mimicry, helps protect the snake from potential predators.   The Honduran milk snake uses constriction to kill its prey and tends to be opportunistic when it comes to its diet; they eat other snakes (ophiophagy), including venomous snakes, lizards, rodents, birds and eggs.
